تتابع رابطة الكتاب السوريين، ببالغ الاهتمام والتفاؤل، ومن موقعها المكرس لخدمة تطلعات أبناء شعبنا نحو الحرية والكرامة، انتفاضة أهلنا في سويداء العزة والكرامة، والتي باتت عنواناً لتحركات كل الطامحين إلى التحرر من سلطة الاستبداد، في عدة مدن تعلن عن وقفاتها وتظاهراتها.
وترى أن صرخات الحرية التي تدوي في ساحة السير/ ساحة الكرامة لليوم الخامس على التوالي، تأتي كشعلة أمل جديدة للشعب السوري المكلوم وكامتداد لثورة الكرامة المستمرة منذ العام 2011.
هذه انتفاضة الحق التي أشعلتها آلام السوريين الناتجة عن استهتار النظام بمصير البلاد وشعبها، حيث لم يقدم أي خطوات إيجابية باتجاه الحل السياسي لتحقيق السلام المستدام، بعد أن أمعن بإجرامه بحق السوريين ومارس كل أنواع الانتهاكات وجرائم الحرب، مما أدى إلى انشقاقات في البنى الاجتماعية، وانهيارات اقتصادية، وخدمية، وكارثة إنسانية قوامها نزوح مئات الآلاف داخلياً، ولجوء الملايين إلى دول الجوار وتبعثرهم في شتى أصقاع المعمورة، لتصبح مأساتنا هي الأكبر في العصر الحديث وفقاً لتصريحات الأمم المتحدة.
نتضامن اليوم مع حقوق السوريات والسوريين في السويداء ودرعا وكل محافظات سوريا في المطالبة بالحقوق السياسية والاقتصادية والإنسانية وأهمها تحقيق سلام مستدام عبر تنفيذ القرار ٢٢٥٤ بالكامل، بما في ذلك إنشاء هيئة حكم انتقالي، والمضي بسوريا نحو مرحلة جديدة، يتم فيها ومن خلالها إنعاش البلاد، واتخاذ خطوات فعلية تلبي طموحات الشعب السوري في الحرية والكرامة والديموقراطية وتتحقق فيها المواطنة الكاملة لكل السوريين دون أي تمييز
نتضامن مع المتظاهرين الذين يواجهون سلطة القمع والإبادة ونضم أصواتنا وأقلامنا لمطالبهم المحقة..
ومعاً نحو الحرية والكرامة ودولة المواطنة وسيادة القانون..

The Syrian Writers Association Salutes the Renewed Uprising of the Syrians
Statement
August 24, 2023
The Syrian Writers Association follows with great interest and optimism the uprising of our people in Suwayda, which has become a title for the movements of all those aspiring to liberation from tyrannical authority. We believe that the cries of freedom resounding in Al-Seer Square / Al-Karama Square for the fifth day in a row come as a new beacon of hope for the bereaved Syrian people and as an extension of the dignity revolution that has been going on since 2011.
This uprising is the uprising of truth, ignited by the pain of the Syrians resulting from the regime’s disregard for the fate of the country and its people. The regime has not taken any positive steps towards a political solution to achieve sustainable peace. Instead, it has continued to criminalize its own people and practice all kinds of violations and war crimes. This has led to the collapse of social structures, an economic and humanitarian catastrophe, and the internal displacement of hundreds of thousands of Syrians. Millions have sought refuge in neighboring countries and scattered to other parts of the globe. Our tragedy is the largest in the modern era, according to the United Nations.
Today, we stand in solidarity with the rights of Syrian women and men in As-Suwayda, Daraa, and all the governorates of Syria. We stand with them in demanding political, economic, and human rights, the most important of which is achieving sustainable peace through the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2254. This includes the establishment of a transitional governing body that will move Syria towards a new stage in which the country will be revitalized and decisions will be taken that meet the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, dignity, and democracy. We also stand with them in demanding full citizenship for all Syrians without any discrimination.
We stand in solidarity with the demonstrators who are facing the authority of repression and massacre. We add our voices and our pens to their just demands.
Together, we will achieve freedom, dignity, the state of citizenship, and the rule of law for all Syrians.

Déclaration de l’Association des écrivains syriens : Salutations à la nouvelle révolte des Syriens
L’Association des écrivains syriens suit avec un grand intérêt et optimisme, depuis sa position dédiée à servir les aspirations de notre peuple pour la liberté et la dignité, la révolte de notre peuple dans la région de Soueidaa, symbole du mouvement de tous ceux qui aspirent à se libérer de l’autorité de la dictature, dans plusieurs villes qui annoncent leurs manifestations et leurs protestations.
Elle considère les cris de liberté qui résonnent sur la place al-Seer / place de la dignité depuis cinq jours consécutifs comme une nouvelle lueur d’espoir pour le peuple syrien affligé, et une continuation de la révolution de la dignité qui se poursuit depuis 2011.
Cette révolte légitime a été allumée par la douleur des Syriens résultant du mépris du régime envers le destin du pays et de son peuple, qui n’a pris aucune mesure positive vers une solution politique pour réaliser une paix durable, après avoir commis des crimes atroces contre les Syriens et perpétré toutes sortes de violations et de crimes de guerre.
Aujourd’hui, nous nous solidarisons avec les droits des Syriennes et des Syriens à Soueida et Daraa, ainsi que dans toutes les provinces de la Syrie, pour revendiquer leurs droits politiques, économiques et humains. La demande principale est de réaliser une paix durable en mettant en œuvre pleinement la résolution 2254, y compris la création d’un organe de gouvernement de transition. Cela permettra à la Syrie d’entrer dans une nouvelle phase, de revitaliser le pays et de prendre des mesures concrètes pour répondre aux aspirations du peuple syrien en termes de liberté, de dignité, de démocratie et d’égalité des citoyens, sans discrimination.
Nous nous solidarisons avec les manifestants qui font face à la répression et à l’oppression, et nous ajoutons nos voix et nos plumes à leurs justes revendications.
Ensemble vers la liberté, la dignité, l’état de citoyenneté et l’État de droit.
